Philip is Head of our Marketing & BD Team with responsibility for delivering strategic marketing and BD management for the firm.
Philip has worked in Professional Service Management since 1999, within large regional law firms as well as the global accountancy firm PwC LLP.
In recent years Philip has been responsible for business development for two of the fastest growing large regional law firms in the UK, the most recent of which gave him the opportunity to hone his business skills as a member of the management board.
Since joining Withers & Rogers in 2015 Philip has focused his time and energy on delivering a clear client strategy, with particular attention on improving the visibility and value of IP at board level with clients.
Philip is an effective client facing advocate for the firm, with a reputation for asking the type of difficult questions that enable our attorneys to focus on providing the best advice for our clients.
Philip is a Business Administration graduate, which he completed whilst in full time employment with the global industrial group; GKN. During his time as a Market Analyst for Honeywell Aerospace he also completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing at UWE. Philip spent fifteen years in B2B sales and marketing roles before moving into the Professional Services sector.
Philip tries to keep up with his training as a triathlete. He can also, occasionally be seen gigging with his daughter, singing and playing acoustic guitar. When time permits, Philip has a passion for restoring classic motorcycles.
